Chalcophyllite
Wheal Gorland, Gwennap, Cornwall, England... This month’s
Connoisseur’s Choice mineral—chalcophyllite—falls into
the latter category, its name having...specimens from Wheal
Tamar, Devon, England.
Chalcophyllite occurs in a range of colors from emeraldgreen...druses
are also reported.
The general formula of chalcophyllite is Cu18Al2(AsO4)4
(SO4)3(OH)24.36H2O. No significant...[Cu2Al(AsO4)(OH)4.4H2O]
by chalcophyllite has been found.
Chalcophyllite is relatively rare compared |  | | Journal (issue) | | substances which came into being during smelting and slag formation are not

one of the spurs of Sowen Dod. The slag dumps have received considerable attention
from mineral...building was L shaped
having 3 Scotch hearths, a slag hearth, a roasting furnace

Smelter is not mineralized. it consists of small pieces of
