Abstract/NotesThe Barbara mine, a small abandoned gold mine located in the Coolgardie are of the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, is best known for pegmatite minerals, natably helvite, which were present in a pegmatite body intersected in historic underground workings and a more recent open cut.
This paper documents known pegmatite minerals form the mine and discusses the mineral chemistry of the helvite-group minerals
